Holy Rosary Church

The Holy Name Cathedral Human Concerns Commission in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service is offering free tax preparation and electronic filing for families with a total income of $45,000 or less.  Trained IRS-certified volunteers will be available to review and prepare your income tax returns on Saturday mornings from February 6 until April 10, 2010, in the Holy Name Cathedral Parish Center.  The doors will open at 10:00 a.m., with clients taken on a first-come, first-served basis.  If you plan to attend, you must bring all of the following with you:

- Photo identification

- Social security cards for yourself, your spouse, and any dependents

- W2 forms from all of your employers

- 1099 forms from all of your financial institutions

- Proof of property taxes paid with county PIN number

- Total amount paid to daycare provider with provider’s tax number

- Last year’s income tax return

- All other tax documents to support deductions

- Personal check to get bank numbers for direct deposit of refunds

Please note the tax preparers can not do returns for more complicated tax issues such as international students, the self-employed, business partnerships, etc.
