“Website for Pope John Paul II’s Beatification”

The Diocese of Rome has initiated a new website dedicated to the beatification of Pope John Paul II (1920-2005).  He was beatified on Divine Mercy Sunday, May 1, 2011, by His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI.

The new website, www.karol-wojtyla.org, provides a biography of this holy man as well as the latest updates concerning his beatification and cause for sainthood.  When you get to the home page for the website, click on the British flag (the third one from the left) to get the English translation of the content.  A live webcam connects the viewer to the site of his tomb in St. Peter’s Basilica.

Let’s all give thanks to God for the gift of Pope John Paul II!
