“Salvation and Catholic History Bible Study Program”

The “Great Adventure” is a Catholic Bible study system developed by Jeff Cavins to help the average person understand the events and notable personalities of our Church and salvation history.  Using a special timeline, participants can learn how to incorporate the important moments of Catholic Church history into their understanding of our faith today.  This program has proven to be extremely popular as a valuable tool for enhancing spiritual growth as well as a fun way to learn about the momentous events that impacted upon Catholicism as well as world history.

A new program utilizing DVDs of Jeff Cavins’ “Great Adventure” approach to Bible study will be offered at Pauline Books, 172 N. Michigan Avenue in Chicago (across the street from the Art Institute).  Live facilitators will conduct each session to further explain the program’s content and answer questions.  The classes will meet from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. every first, third, and fourth Saturday of the month.  Participants must bring their own Bibles (you may also purchase one at Pauline Books while you are there).  A fee of $40 is required.  If you wish to register or require additional information, please telephone (312) 346-4228.
