The Sacrament of Reconciliation

Feel the healing power of God’s forgiveness and mercy.

We’ve all heard the phrase “Confession is good for the soul” but, more importantly, it is a viable way for each of us to experience the healing power of God’s forgiveness and mercy on a personal level. Through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we can draw closer to Our Savior and deepen our faith. Remember, Confession is essential before receiving the Eucharist.

For your convenience, confessions are heard a half hour before each of the weekend Masses. On weekdays, confessions may be heard immediately following the morning Mass. Both confessionals in the rear of the Church are available for use. Father Kalck usually uses the confessional to the right as you enter the Church.

Parents, please don’t miss this opportunity to lead by example. Make a new year’s resolution to go to Confession on a regular basis, and take your children with you. Not only will the experience be good for you, it will also teach your children how to incorporate the Sacraments into their daily lives.
