“Treasures of Our Catholic Traditions”

A new evening program, “Treasures of Our Catholic Traditions,” is being offered by leading scholars to help participants explore the magnificent heritage of Catholicism.  This four-part series will consist of lectures provided by faculty members from the Chicago Theological Union.  After the presentation, there will be a discussion with the audience including time for questions. 

The first two sessions will be offered on the lower level of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 1775 Grove Street in Glenview (just west of Waukegan Road). 

Monday, January 25 – “What if the Bible Were Written Today?” with Terry Stadler.

Tuesday, February 16 – “Forgiveness” with Judy Logue

The last two sessions of the program will be conducted in Grace Hall of St. Norbert’s Parish, 1809 Walters Road in Northbrook. 

Tuesday, March 9 – “Catholic Liturgy and Daily Life” with Robert Wheeler.

Wednesday, April 14 – “Sacraments” with Fr. Richard Fragomeni. 

All sessions will begin at 7:30 p.m.  Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to attend any or all of the presentations.
