All of the young adults in our parish are invited to enjoy a slice of pizza and fellowship with other Catholics while learning more about our religion. The Slice of Faith Program was designed for college students as well as people in their 20s and 30s who are searching to expand and deepen their understanding of our Catholic beliefs.
Using Sacred Scripture readings, Church Catechism, and various Christian writings, the group discusses topics related to the Catholic Christian journey as young adults. The choice of topics is generated by those in attendance. Each meeting also includes prayer and conversation while providing an opportunity to build friendships, enhance faith, and share the struggles and triumphs of young adulthood with like-minded Catholics. Social activities and community outreach projects are also discussed.
The Slice of Faith Program meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month in the St. Clare Auditorium of St. Peter’s in the Loop Church, 110 W. Madison Street in Chicago. Each session runs from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. If you require additional information, please telephone St. Peter’s Church at (312) 372-5111.
