There will be a special Holy Hour service celebrated in honor of ST. PEREGRINE LAZIOSI, the patron saint of cancer patients, on the third Saturday of each month. The St. Peregrine Devotional Mass and Blessing will include Scripture readings, a sermon, the Sacrament of the Annointing of the Sick, the Blessing of individuals with the relic of St. Peregrine, and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Everyone is invited to attend, especially cancer patients, their families, their friends, and their caregivers.
The Holy Hour will be conducted at the National Shrine of St. Peregrine in Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Basilica is located at 3121 W. Jackson Boulevard in Chicago (adjacent to the Eisenhower Expressway). Ample, secure parking is available at the back of the Basilica.
